![]() It is an alternate version of "Summon Demon Lord" that is locked at 1000 cost, has no chance of failure, and can only be cast at and consumes a level 3 library. This should make the ritual's original intention as a way to invade Inferno a more viable option, as well as providing Demonologist with an interesting (yet expensive and risky) means to fast travel and escape bad positioning.ĭemonologist pt 2 - Added a new, "Infernal Tome" ritual learned for free at level 3. This mod increases the cost of "Personal Gate" and "Returning" to 50 Sacrifices, but now teleports the entire army instead of just the caster. Even a Goetic Master is likely to be immediately killed teleporting to Inferno solo. Goal here is to make the Monk/Abbot portion of this class more interesting without turning this into a new main focus of the game play.ĭemonologist - The "Personal Gate" ritual in its default state is not very good. Added to the "Found Monastery" ritual a 25% chance to add a Bless effect. WHAT DOES IT DO.This mod is a series of adjustments to existing classes, rituals, and items with the goal of improving game play experience without substantially changing the game.īaron - Has access to Monks/Abbots with Prayers spells but no means to improve the Blessed status/trait. As far as I can tell, it doesn't do anything particularly unusual in combat, and it doesn't affect Bakemono summons. I saw Robe of the Archking x3, Tempest x2, Emperor's Hope x2, Precious, and plenty other crazy items before I saw this. This is one of the most rare items in the game. After like 16 hours of grinding, and seeing every single magic item in the game, I finally got it. For a game with as many nooks and crannies and hidden secrets as CoE, who knows what the Athame of High Sacrifics could do.Įdit 1: Another item with a blank "Special Effects" section is the "Heavenly Seal" which allows you to break a seal like the Voice of El.Įdit 2: I made a large map, conquered the whole thing, and set up an enchanter as a magic item factory. I have a hard time believing that an item so rare that I've only just found it after 600+ hrs of play time only does 1-5 damage. Unfortunately, I lost the dagger before I could test it. Or maybe if it does something unique in combat. Does anyone know what the Athame does? I'm wondering if it affects summoning rituals. Oakbane Axe, for example, grants the burn forest ability. I've seen before that when an item has a blank special effects section, it usually does something unique. I found an item called the "Athame of High Sacrifice." The item says it does 1-5 piercing damage, however it has a special effects section that is blank. Since there are some spells that convert, im just wondering, is it the class you pick in the beginning that determines your roster, or is it the leader types?Īlso, since im copy pasting this from a comment to get some more anwsers on it, I've been told I should play witch if im trying to subvert leader types. Back when I played starcraft alot it was a personal favorite of mine to find the builder units of every faction and have a base that used all 3. Seriously, how the hell is anyone meant to cope with the Inferno portal random event? It took me a substantial army (Comprised entirely of water warlock units) backed by a queen of the sea and a great water warlock to defeat a single one of their minor armies, and the literal only survivor of the fight was the greater water warlock.Īlso, Since I'm reading other stuff about other planes. So, Ive been running the bystander mod just to get a feel of what some of the factions should feel like as you progress the game. ![]()
